ENGIE acquires Mobisol
ENGIE Laborelec’s due diligence assessment seals the deal
As part of the acquisition process, ENGIE Laborelec experts carried out the technical due diligence assessment on Mobisol’s products and evaluating the battery technology used.
Mobisol is a pioneer of PAYGo solar home systems, providing customers in Sub-Saharan Africa with off-grid electricity access, and a billing service using a mobile money platform. In addition to the solar panels and controller units, solar home systems typically incorporate LED lighting, phone chargers and other appliances such as radios and TVs.
