Thales and ENGIE Laborelec put their expertise at the service of IT security
The first presentation of a joint training course by Thales and ENGIE Laborelec went ahead at the Thales Cyberlab in Tubize on 21 February. The training, unique of its kind, was made possible by pooling Thales' expertise in network and database security with ENGIE Laborelec's expertise in protecting IT management systems in critical infrastructure and industrial processes.
Not a week goes by without the media reporting a cyber-attack putting an organisation in difficulty. And many companies are not sufficiently aware of the risk cyber-attacks pose to their computer networks (IT security) and to the systems managing their assets and production processes (OT security). In consequence, the federal and regional authorities now aim to make Belgium the most secure country in Europe for IT security.
To meet these challenges, Thales and ENGIE Laborelec, each at the forefront of their field of expertise in IT security, are joining forces to offer exclusive training in Belgium.
