The situation around COVID-19 evolves rapidly in many countries in which ENGIE Laborelec operates. As it has always been, the health and safety of our employees and their families, our clients and our partners, remain our highest priority.
All our employees are getting used to new realities, and finding ways to pursue their missions for our clients and the communities served.
In line with the requirements and recommendations of local authorities, we have reinforced preventive and protective measures in the countries where we operate.
Most of our staff are now requested to work from home and are well equipped with collaborative digital tools. Business trips have also been cancelled until further notice.
These measures may vary further from country to country and are decided, communicated and monitored by the management of our local entities.
We assess the situation daily in order to adapt our measures as closely as possible to the local realities and the recommendations of the various authorities.
We are confident that together with our employees, clients and partners and the broader society we will overcome this crisis and get back to our normal activities as quickly as possible.
Our thoughts are with those directly affected by the novel coronavirus and the brave healthcare workers worldwide who are fighting this pandemic from the front line and protecting our lives.
We thank all our stakeholders for the trust.
Michael Marique, CEO of ENGIE Laborelec
