Technical seminar - 21-22 November 2019

Indoor lighting: converting to LED

Is it technically feasible and financially worth it?

This two-day technical seminar tackles a central issue for industrial operators and site managers. Converting my current lighting system to LED:
  • Is it technically feasible?

  • Is it financially worth it?

The training session begins by defining basic lighting concepts such as:
  • What is light?

  • What is uniformity?

  • What is glare?

  • What do the different units of measurement mean (lux, candela, lumen, etc.)

We then fully explore the subject, addressing such questions as:
  • What are the characteristics of LED technology?

  • What are the main criteria on which to compare LEDs to older technologies?

  • How do you evaluate the quality of the LED luminaires on the market?

  • Which legislative aspects do you take into account (e.g. lighting regulations in the workplace, in the public sector, in industry).
