Legislation encourages the production of electricity from renewable energy sources. The Laborelec competence center provides expert advice about energy valorization of biomass and waste. We assess how these sources can be maximized as a fuel in a particular production plant, and how they influence the process parameters and the efficiency of combustion. One important aspect is the analysis of ash. Laborelec has developed a unique approach for the certification of biofules to guarantee to the end user the sustainability of their production process.
